The model has a spreader bar of "just" 78 cm, but the cloth itself has a width of 128cm (usually they have 110cm). The smaller spreader bar makes this hammock easier to carry, but the very wide cloth make this hammock perfectly comfy. The bar stretches the fabric to the width of the bar, but the full width of the cloth is available once you lie in the hammock. Please note, that in this kind of hammock you should lie lengthwise (whereas in hammocks without spreader bar you should lie diagonal).
